For her part, Marwa Al-Dali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of wakfeit ELMaadi” Foundation for Community Service, indicated that the first phase began to provide a sustainable source of income for employment due to the repercussions of Covid 19. Successful implementation of the first phase, and we aim to maintain the current production line in addition to developing it through the implementation of the second phase of our project.
She revealed that, in cooperation with the German embassy, we were able through the project to produce high-quality products, and we have our own name in our projects, which is “OSTAWAT”. Where quality represents one of the most important elements and the title of the wakfeit work.
She added that the first phase, which began in September 2020, achieved tremendous success, as we succeeded in hiring 50 families, whom we trained with a specific goal and a high-quality level. The products are sold in the wakeit outlets in Dandy Mall and displayed in a number of outlets in Maadi.
